Suspect after the active incident of shooters in the annex of the Texas Border Patrol sector

A suspect is dead after an active shooter incident at the entrance of the annex of the Border Patrol sector in McAllen, Texas, according to an official of the National Security Department.

The border patrol agents and the local police “neutralized” the shooter, according to DHS.

The door was killed by an alleged suspect at the facilities of the United States Border Patrol located near McAllen airport, Texas, on July 7, 2025.

A McAllen police officer was beaten in the leg, apparently when the officers returned the fire to the suspect, according to two officials familiar with the incident.

The city officials said that all flights at the nearby McAllen International Airport are delayed.
