Around 24 hours after the police said that an armed man killed a legislator from the state of Minnesota and her husband, in addition to injuring another legislator and his wife, the suspect Vance Boelter remains fleeing, authorities said.

The suspect exchanged shots with the police and could escape and flee on foot, the authorities said.
