The allegedly used explicit videos to blackmail women focused on Tuesday for Manhattan’s jury that will decide the fate of Sean “Diddy ‘Combs.

With the headphones and with their hidden video monitors of public view, the jury saw long clips of drug parties fed with drugs in the center of the case of sexual trafficking of the prosecution against the rap magnate and the fashion flavor.

During the seven -week trial, he has shown screenshots and brief clips of recordings of the orgies where the combs would see their girlfriends having sex with male prostitutes. But on Tuesday he marked the first extensive look at the key evidence in the case.

Prosecutors argue that the videos were produced and saved by combs as material that could be used as blackmail against women to guarantee their silence.

“I simply feared for my career. I feared for my family,” said Cassie Ventura, the ex -girlfriend and combs musician, about combs threatened to release the videos. “It’s horrible and disgusting. No one should do that to anyone.”

The combs lawyers argue that the videos cut against the affirmation of the Prosecutor’s Office that combs coerced women in sex. The defense insists that the jury saw in the recordings that women voluntarily participated in marathon orgies, called “monsters” or “hotel nights.”

“We believe that these videos are powerful evidence that sexual behavior in this case was consensual and was not based on coercion,” said defense lawyer Tey Geragos during his opening statement.

The videos themselves are under sealed due to the sensitive nature of what they show, and the judge has ruled that no one outside the jury and the parties in the case can see them. The news organizations, including ABC news, went to court in search of at least limited access to describe what the tapes show, but the US district judge Arun Subramanian rejected that request.

Comink declared himself innocent of sexual trafficking, conspiracy of extortion and transport to involve prostitution. If he is convicted of all charges, he could go to prison for the rest of his life.

As the Prosecutor’s Office continues to finish its case, which began in early May, they plan to call two additional witnesses this week before resting on Friday. Defensor lawyers say they plan to present a successful case to reinforce their claims that sexual parties involved consenting adults and that the rap tycoon never dedicated himself to sexual trafficking.

The judge considers the lawyers for violation of the gag order

The judge began the judicial session on Tuesday with the most severe warning he has issued from the bank since the beginning of the trial, threatening to sanction the lawyers on both sides for allegedly violating the strict order of gag that he has slapped in the case.

Subramanian said that a news article did not specify which one included information that was not public and that the media should not know. The judge did not reveal to what information he was referring to, but summoned everyone in the case to meet behind closed doors to discuss a problem with a jury member.

“Someone is lying,” said the judge normally cold to the lawyers when everyone declared the ignorance of their questions about the alleged escape.

According to Subramanian, the violation of his order could result in charges of criminal or civil contempt and promised to quickly investigate the matter and “punish” whoever is responsible.

“You don’t have to pass the money. The dollar stops with you. If something happens, then the main lawyer is responsible,” Subramanian told prosecutors Maureen Comment and defense lawyer Marc Agnifilo. “If a judge in this court wrote an opinion that documes the violation of the main lawyer of the orders of the Court, it would be a bad thing.”

Subramanian threatened to transport lawyers to the courts, force them to testify and take an examination of their electronic devices.

“This is the only warning that I will give,” said the judge.

Prosecutors try to strengthen the evidence of a criminal company

With only a so -called “summary” testimony that took the position on Tuesday, prosecutors used the testimony of the special agent of the Penland, of the US National Security investigations, to show the evidence of the jury that, they say, it shows that the combs used their commercial empire to administer a undercover criminal company.

When ComBs accumulated more than $ 46,000 in damages in its room at the Intercontinental Hotel in Manhattan’s Times Square, the combs credit card bill that month, totaling $ 944,059 in charges, was paid through multiple bank accounts controlled by its companies, according to the evidence shown to the sworn on Thursday.

When Comps used its credit card to buy airline tickets for ex -girlfriend Cassie Ventura and an escort in 2010, those charges were paid similarly through a bank account signatory in the possession of Bad Boy Entertainment Worldwide, according to Tuesday’s testimony.

Prosecutors say that the records showed how the combs tangled their commercial and personal life, supposedly taking advantage of the money that their company owns to orchestrate highly choreographed sexual parties and resources where it observed and masturbated while directed the intimate activity.

The jury also saw text messages that showed how Kristine Khorram, the combs cabinet chief, hastened in 2016 to make sure that the combs video assault Ventura at a hotel in Los Angeles would not see the light of day.

The video is a centerpiece of the prosecutor’s case. The video ended up reproducing in CNN last year and has been seen repeatedly during the trial.

After Ventura refused to respond to combs texts and calls after the incident, Khorram tried to intervene, according to records.

“He only talks to him,” Khorram begged. “I’m sorry, I don’t want to be in the middle, I just don’t want me to come back there.”

In a separate exchange, Khorram instructed an assistant: “Let’s say they had a fun and drunk night, he tried to get more information.”

The jury has heard and seen the name of Khorram repeatedly during the trial. She has not testified and is not accused, but federal prosecutors have portrayed her as a key figure in the alleged extortion conspiracy.

Khorram representatives have not responded to previous requests for comments, although she has denied any irregularity in a statement that responds to a civil lawsuit in which she was mentioned.

The defense says they will present a short case

Since prosecutors are expected to rest their case before Friday, combs defense lawyers told the judge on Tuesday that they plan to take two to five days of the court so that their version of the events will be submitted to the jury.

“It could be shorter than two. We are making adjustments as we move forward,” said defense lawyer Agnifilo.

Defensor lawyers said yesterday that they will begin their case by calling Vashta Dunlap, a former Bad Boy Records label of combs.

Subramanian said that a brief case of defense could allow the jury to listen to closing statements next week.

On Wednesday, federal prosecutors plan to call their last two witnesses, including a former university basketball player turned into personal assistant for combs and a final summary witness.
